exceedingly fine, and the quality of the fleeces very uniform. The Shepherd said, the average weight of the fleeces, was about 1¾ lbs. Bare velvety legs and faces are quite a characteristic of this flock, and are considered to be essential.
There are about two hundred & fifty Lambs dropped. They are about three weeks old, in good condition, and look very healthy.
The average of losses on the whole flock, is 5 per Cent, per Annum. Of the Increase, 270 Lambs from 300 Ewes.
After enjoying the treat of a very minute examination of this beautiful flock, we received an invitation from the Princess, to partake of some refreshment.
Her Highness asked many questions about New South Wales, the State of Society there - of the flocks - the prices of Wool &c. The latter Inquiry afforded me an opportunity to ask the
