There are flatheads, guard fish, white and black brims, a kind of small plaice or flounder that stands upright in the water, however, and is very numerous, plus the big snappers. The latter are probably about twice the size of a big haddock and are among the tastiest fish that exist here. In Sydney, the price is said to be £10 a piece.
