It seems to be the minimal qualification nowadays for any profession, except for a merchant maybe. I worry far less about Margot. The sweet little thing seems to be a lot more mature and advanced than H., to judge from her well-developed handwriting. I have no doubt that she will easily fill her position in life. How I long for all of them, but in particular for Trude! While the relatives in Karlsruhe surely take loving care of her, it won’t be easy for her and I deeply regret that she had to forsake her own home and hearth, for which she had so yearned.
