be an intermediate between the Herons & Spoonbills
Nautilus - a very fine specimen of the the Sepia in a shell of the paper kind
Aranea - a humming bird spider whose body is 4 inches long the largest I have seen
Pennatula - a large & very beautiful species describd by Albicus in annotationes acad. Leydens.
A boot made of the gum capuchu [?] of a size large enough for a large man said to have been made for the King of Portugal
Chrystal  [Crystal] - a large one, one with hollow quadrangular pipes in it 1/16 of an inch or thereabouts in diameter.

While we were in the museum Van Royen Professor of Botany came to us & carried us through a small door directly into his green house from whence he walkd us all over the Garden which tho not Large is exceedingly well furnishd with plants
