Oculus mundi a small peice [piece] uncut resembling a fragment of whitish Quarts [quartz]
Iceland Chrystal a piece 11 inches long  8½ broad at the broadest and 6½ at the other & 2½ thick
A rough diamond made up of two quadrangular cones the edges of which were very much rounded [See image for drawing of the crystal]
Another rough diamond said to be in its matrix but in reality only fixd among a parcel of small pebbles by an iron rust it seemd to differ much from the other.

The cold of the Cabinet for we had only one small peat fire was almost intolerable & cost me a headach of the worst kind.  I remained in it however for 3 hours & then went into a still colder the repository of marbles gemms & medals the former were excerable the second bad the other I did not see but suppose was good at least by
