<p>[Page 110]</p><p>was now being run from here, and since we had left no debts, but actual funds, behind in Singapore, we opposed dissolution and a potential sale of our property. The guys in Singapore won&rsquo;t care much about our protest, but we may be able to base a claim for restitution on this. But how will our beautiful club look after all these years? In the beginning, at the time of the mutiny, some of the volunteers were accommodated there and they would not have treated the furniture, etc with much care. And if nobody since has looked after the things and the building, the white termites that had already been active under the roof would have continued their path of destruction. And once there are some large holes in the roof, a total collapse is pretty inevitable. It&rsquo;s a tragedy but there&rsquo;s not much we can do from here, and the remaining club members still at large in Singapore, mostly Swiss and Dutch, for fear or other reasons</p>
