Anybody in England with a German name nowadays is automatically suspected of espionage. No wonder then that even the English royal family had to take this hatred into account. Former German princes who are related to the royal family, who live in England and occupy some position there, had to give up their German names. It concerns above all the princes of Teck and Battenberg. The former has been rechristened Marquis of Cambridge and the latter became Marquis of Mountbatton, [Mountbatten] and as a German one can only be glad to be rid of them. Hopefully their rights to German titles will be rescinded and their properties in Germany confiscated. The King himself did not want to lag behind and has renounced all his German titles, honours and rights and instead founded the House of Windsor. Thus this boozed-up bloke has now become an &ldquo;ancestor&rdquo; whom his descendants</p>
