Jan 17th Arrive Early morning find Brazilian Cruiser "Barroso" at Anchor since our last visit to the Island a small settlement has sprung up. We circle the Island the "Macedonia" Coals we go after a Norwegian sailing ship and board her she has come from Buenos Aires homeward bound.
Jan 21st Receive particulars of Raider and the number of ships she sunk 13 ships in all aggregating 60,000 tons we Part Company with "Macedonia" who puts into "Rio de Janerio" we push on to Abrohlos
Jan 23rd. Arrive at "Abrohlos" "Glasgow" "Edinburgh Castle" "Amethyst" & "Donegal" & "Oratava" at anchor.
Jan 27th. Leave to go South via Rio to meet "Macedonia"
