a ship is stationed we at one end the "Kent" & "Glasgow" on the other end.

March 3rd Still patrolling outside Barbara Channel no word of anything about the "Dresden" as yet. It is supposed that she has been supplied with stores from Punta Arenas

March 4th No trace of the "Dresden" being found in or about Barbara Channel we all leave in line "Glasgow"  ahead then "Orama" followed by the "Kent" making about 18 knots Guns swung out and extra lookouts placed to scan the bays and likely hiding places It was rather a pretty sight to see the skilful way the Glasgow is handled no doubt she is the "pukka" ship. Our skipper deserves a fair share of praise the way he handled our packet thro' some very ticklish places at full speed at one particular place they lost the track full steam astern rung down just in time to save a collision. I happened to be looking the side at this particular
