Feb 8th Jan 31st Arrive back at Anchorage with mails for "Edinburgh Castle" who takes over our station we leave for "Abrohlos Rocks" to take up station with "Glasgow" & "Vindictive" which was sent and rigged up with a powerful wireless set we are going up to the hot weather we do not like the Idea of leaving this Salubrious climate
Feb 8th Arrive and anchor in the company of "Vindictive" 40 miles from Abrohlos Rocks our base has been shifted on account of the ship that got thro our North sea patrol. we coal ship.
Feb 10th Arrive at Abrohlos Rocks "Glasgow" anchored here.
Feb 12th we leave with "Glasgow" and Collier to try and locate the Raider the three ships steam slowly abreast the Glasgow shorewards the Collier as decoy in the centre 20 miles from Glasgow and "Orama" 20 miles distant from abreast Collier. the Collier has lights burning at night to attract her if she is in the vicinity
