Mch 18th Proceed slowly to Mas-a-Fuera an Island 80 miles west of Juan Fernandez. The Glasgow goes to Vallinar [Vallenar] Roads to send Colliers to us from there she proceeds on to Falklands.
Mch 19th Arrive at Mas-a-Fuera a disused Penal settlement. Anchor at noon an enormous quantity of fish caught by the Crew. Kent arrives later.
Mch 20th still waiting for Colliers.
Mch 21st Church and Muster. Collier "Braunton" arrives we steam around Island while Kent Coals ship then leaves for Valparaiso.
March 23rd to March 26th steam with Collier astern towards "Mollendo"
March 27th Coal at sea Engines kept moving slowly to keep ship head on swell 300 tons taken in.
