May 16th Arrived at Coquimbo parties of Officers go ashore the Chilian Fleet are all assembled for annual manoeuvres
May 17th Leave "Coquimbo" 7 am for "Iquique"
May 19th Anchor in small bay for Coaling a small Chilian vessel is sighted making for us we hurriedly pull up the pick and get out.
May 20th Weather yet too rough for Coaling still proceeding to "Iquique"
