April 5th Arrive at San Nicholas Bay 8.am. Anchor and prepare for coaling "Kent" Arrives at 4 o'clock
April 10th Parties have been ashore each day exploring swimming shooting etc. the "Kent" arrives back from "Callao". A Grand Concert given by the "Orama's" Concert party to Capt Officers and men of the "Kent" and Colliers a first class programme was presented and was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone
April 11th Church and Muster. leave San Nicholas bay for Patrol duty. "Kent" going north we in a southerly direction
April 12th Steaming slowly along coast.
April 13th Came up with British tramp steamer at 6 p.m. board her.
April 14th Turn back to go to Callao.
April 15th Arrive at Callao went ashore spent a most enjoyable day on shore the first time I put my foot on terra Firma since
