Mch 16th Arrived at Valparaiso 7 a.m. put wounded ashore Coal ship 1100 tons after the wounded were transferred to shore, some excited person came from shore in a launch clammering for the three dead bodies of Germans we had on board he was told we hadn't them he evidently must have been told by the men who had already been put ashore
