flying Sir Doveton Sturdee's flag recieve mail from "Oranto"  tranship German prisoners to "Edinburgh Castle" all ships are busy coaling while one is on guard.

Nov 18th Leave with "Otranto" to reconnoitre Trinidad Island in South Atlantic we approach island at full speed we circle the island only to find a Norwegian Whaler anchored in shore reducing blubber. We leave "Otranto" who goes to Sierra Leone we make back to the Squadron on our way back a large ship is sighted a long way off some were of the opinion that it was the Kron Prinz Wilhelm.

Nov 21st Arrive back at Abrohlos Rocks.

Nov 22nd Leave Abrohlos.  All ships steam abreast 30 miles apart in a southerly direction along the coast to Falkland Islands.
