Glad to hear of your appointment as [indecipherable] You people at home are doing all the hard work and drudgery whilst we get all the glory. I often think that we glorify always at the wrong end. I know there are thousands of fellows who have been wounded in this war probably marching up to trenches who have never seen a bosch and have certainly neve attacked one Yet they will be heroes just because of the wound whilst people like you and hundreds of others who are licking one wild ones into shape will receive no recognition at all
