He told me that he had received a letter from a distinguished judge mentioning that I was in the Division, and wanted me to take the position of clerk to Col. Farmer D.S.O. AA and Q M G. I told him that I would rather remain with the company to which he answered that he would not force me to leave, but that it was my duty to take the job, as I should be much more us in it hat with
