Wednesday 13th Nov 1918
Weather cool but fine, we have had a wonderful good run across the Bight were the ships generally get it very rough nine times out of ten.  The Diggers have been influenced by an immigrant, he has bad Union socolistic speeches & the whole of the men refuse to budge off the ship, some of us who were well known got amongst the men & pointed out that we had to go ashore
