fixed on a heavy stand, there is a heavy fly wheel which is regulated by a spring to make it as if running down hill or by tightening the spring up it is like going up hill, in front it works a dial showing how many ¼ of a mile you do.
Another event was putting the pigs eye in (similar to putting on the Donkey tail) Egg & Spoon Race & a pillow fight on a spar over a big canvass bath. These events caused no end of fun – after starting the show I cleared out to my cabin & laid down as I had a beast of a headache.
Sports are to be continued on Monday afternoon.
