putting all these tons of coal & water on to the starboard side at last we are on an even keel, we are supposed to leave here for Durbin tomorrow to finish coaling hope we can get ashore there, it is 2½ days run round from here along the Eastern coast – our lads are busy all day catching fish some splendid lots so are getting an extra feed, they must have caught between 40 & 60 or even more, sharks about 10" to 15" in length – some they killed some they tied pieces of wood to & let go & it was funny to see the antics of the fish to get away, some
