recd today was very cheery, hope it continues. I shall not be a bit surprised if the Turks do not give in in a few weeks.
Saturday 5/10/18
Strong wind & rain squalls during the morning but cleared towards the afternoon. Had an alarm today everybody was in position in 5 mins. I went round & inspected the whole crowd 841 all told – we appear to be getting the best of the Influenza thank goodness. Food still continues good. Had a good game of Bridge tonight with 3 officers & won the large sum of 3/-.
