At last the weather has change, the sea has gone down a lot and the sun is shining bright but we are still on a gentle roll but every body appears to be more cheerful.
Recd good war news yesterday but none today, we should have it from Australia now, no doubt will get some tomorrow.
Friday 1st Nov[ember] 1918
Weather perfect but still a roll on. I'm getting quite a walker do 2 to 3 miles each day. Belt had to be taken up another hole that is two less than when I was at Fircroft.
