when some wag yelled out, "Look out Doc I saw a germ jump on to your launch you better get the hose out & drowned the brute", he glared up at the men and everyone roared with laughter and commenced throwing off all kind of jokes about him until he was too far off. All this cleared the mens feelings & things were quite good. It is not so much the words or jokes that cause the fun but the way some have of saying them.
7 pm and we are just off again hope to reach Melbourne about Wednesday next just a little over 8 weeks on the voyage without a walk ashore, deadly is it not. Suppose we shall be quarantined again.
