Weather fine & cool sea fairly calm and we appear to be making fair headway.  At 10.30 this morning I saw land in the distance we were evidently just rounding Cape Lewin [Leeuwin] so shall see no more until Wednesday.

Saturday 9 Nov[ember 1918]
Weather all to be desired but rather cool – usual boat station Fire & man overboard drill for us & the ships crew – nothing more to mention.

Sunday 10 Nov[ember 1918]
Weather fine but quite a cold wind the sea absolutely calm - usual Communion & Church Services held today but we had no collection – great weather for walking excercise.
