Weather lovely but very hot – perspiration streams off me hence no necessity to exert oneself (hold on a minute while I turn on the Elec[tric] fan). Church services as usual but owing to some misunderstanding attendance not so good – C[hurch] of E[ngland] Collections £2-2-9, R[oman] C[atholic] 5/7d.
Parties of ladies & gentlemen came out in Elec[tric] launches during the day & had a run round the ship about 100 yards off – & waved handkerchiefs &c.
