sensation – we sighted her about 2 hours ago & have just passed her – she sent a signal to us but what it was I have not heard.

Fancy it is just over a fortnight since I left Fircroft it seems in some ways over a year. The sun sets are glorious lately. The saying comes home to one - "They who go down to the sea &c".  We passed a shark about 8 or 9 ft long yesterday, not a nice fellow to bump into. The temperature of the sea was tested this morning it was 81° Far. [Fahrenheit].
