send us some more good news of the war.  Quoits were commenced today I saw some of our fellows playing – they have rope quoits & chalk rings on the deck at a distance of 20 feet & toss along the deck the quoits going into the rings count according to the number in each ring – 3 for a bullseye.

Wednesday 25.9.18
Nothing to put in this, yesterday weather improved except for a few rain squalls.  Last night we had a Eucha [Euchre] Tournament (Cards) which caused some fun.  Today is fine & muggy in fact at night time with all the Port holes closed it is very very hot. It makes me think of some
