Sunday 22.9.18
Nothing much to write about I slept well last night although the ship jumped about fairly well.  The sea is still rough & the decks are smothered in spray.  She must be loaded up below heavily but owing to the troop decks being light she becomes fairly lively besides she is only a 9000 ton boat – we had Holy Communion this morning at 6.45 when I suppose all my people were asleep & comfortable.

I notice the Aux[iliary] Cruiser (the old Oratava) has a big sea plane on her decks but so far has not been able to use it owing to the rough
