own build not quite so stout but what I use to be like but not so tall he has blue eyes & brown hair, moustache, & close cropped beard, & looks a cautious & capable man & certainly has a will of his own.
Just now I noticed a big liner on the horizon evidently travelling on her own – appears to be very fast – any boats who can travel 18 to 20 Knots per hour get escorted out for a day or perhaps 2 then they dash off on their own account & are not escorted until within about 2 days of home again.
At 1-30 pm we parted company with the rest
