South from us leaving us 2 Aux[iliary] Cruisers & 4 T.P.Ds – it is presumed they are making for the Mederterrainian (cant spell it) [Mediterranean] via the Gib[raltar] as they got away from us they looked very fine only trust they as well as ourselves reach our destination safely.  The weather is cold altho' bright, and the sea has a heavy swell on – the rolling of the ship causes no end of inconvenience to the one arm & one leg men but in spite of all their discomfort they laugh heartily over the many funny things which happen to them.

One thing I omitted to mention before and that is that the ship is a dry one both for Officers
