1828 After the Blacks had killed Ada Wood, they robbed Tom Presnell's hut and dangerously wounded John         Croft.
On the same day chased James Gray, who narrowly escaped with his life.
Immediately a

Robbed James Gray's hut on the Macquarie of many valuable articles, and then to Mr Scott's residence where they murdered Charles Woodland and so dangerously wounded another servant that his life was despaired of. The Blacks then robbed the place. *
