It is easyily to perceive that some of those names were bestowed on the Blacks in their intercourse with the Whites.

The females received from Mr Robinson high sounding bl names such as "Queen Eveline" - "Qeen Charlotte" - Princess Lalla Rookh etc. - but what m is most amusing "Lock Jaw Poll" was named "Somiramis" without the slightest Identity in of person or, character, and attainments with of the great Queen and Heroine of the East.

Mr Robinson in his reports and letters also committed the error of evincing a strong  jealousy against of his assistants, and would not allow them any merit for capturing Blacks when he even was at a distance, thereby endeavouring to deprive them of those
