Flowers mostly in threes, axillary, on fruit stalks, which are thickest upwards. But at the termination of the branches, the flowers are thickly & several set together. Calyx not easily to be seen until the petals are shed: It seems that it grows as the fruit ripens. Petals smooth on the inside, white, with a little rust colour pubescence on the outside. Leaf & fruit stalks as well as the calyx & capsule covered with a thick rust colored pubescence. Anthers yellow.
