Cal. Cup deeply divided, with 5 teeth, nearly equal, spear shaped, expanding (often times reflected) permanent.

Bloss. butterfly shaped

Standard nearly semicircular, upright, notched at the end, claw very short

Wings 2, oblong, blunt, as long as the standard, with a large tooth, near the base on the upper side

Keel of 2 petals, united by the lower edges, notched at the end, a little shorter than the wings, each with a large tooth near the base on the upper side

Stam. Filaments 10, distinct, thread shaped. Anthers double, incumbent

Pist. Germen on a foot stalk, oblong. Style thread shaped, rising upwards terminal simple
