our arrival in Melbourne, in fact I hope to able to leave for Sydney the same day or next day at the latest, though should we not arrive early Saturday morning my chances are but poor. Everything aboard now in spick and span order for arrival. Exercises have now been abandoned, as we do not need anything to occupy our minds, the thoughts of being home in a few days, being quite sufficient food for thought. The Purser and self had rather an exciting time
