Sunday 5th Sept 1915. A very bad accident was narrowly averted this morning about 2am, We passing about 20 yards off a partly submerged derelict. The O o W immediately worked out the position, and from then till daylight ½ hourly warnings were sent out by wireless to all vessels in range. Nothing of interest during day. No training at night.
