dressings were only kept from falling by someone holding them down every time the ship rolled. Ship rolling too much to do exercises after 8pm so turned in.
Friday 3rd September 1915. Ship rolled badly throughout the day but not so bad as yesterday. Sighted a beautiful big albatross flying around this morning. This is the first of this specie sighted during the trip.
Saturday 4th Sept 1915. The fore part of the lower bridge has been covered in with canvas and it now makes a delightful walk. Before it was erected the wind blew
