on the coast. He left Howard Smith to take his present post more to have a trip to England than for any other reason. He is a cheery dispositioned fellow of 28 years and has an excellent taste in dressing himself in the good clothes which he has stock of. He is a very good natured chap, has a very keen sense of humor, and is the life of the ship.
