At 7pm Cape Agulhas was abeam & the course was changed to take us around the coast. The Geelong is evidently going to Australia direct because she steamed away to the Southwards, and out of sight. The night continued miserable and rainy, heavy sea.
Friday 10th Septr 1915. During my first watch this morning I worked with Durban, advising the agents there that we expected to arrive on Sunday morning. After finishing the watch at 3am I went up to the bridge with 2nd Mate for a while (always do spend ½ an hour or so there when on watch between 12 & 4)
