Monday 6th Septr 1915. Received Press from Capetown at 2am. Though I got most of it alright the X's were very bad and made working uncomfortable. Did not get up for breakfast, but slept in till 9am and had Steward bring some to cabin. Rather big head sea retarded progress all day and made ship do a good deal of rolling.
