But withal, the time passed very pleasantly, and the madder the tricks the more we enjoy them. At 7.30 X's being too bad to hear any station sending I cut out and had some practice on the punching ball. After &$188; of an hours solid going I was perspiring freely and feeling very tired about it. A big cluster of electric lights has been erected near the stand, enabling us to vent any spleen we may have on the ball at any time day or night. A cold bath before turning in made me feel nice & fresh and put me to sleep quickly.
