a peculiar expression when laughing. He often giggles like a girl, and sometimes when asked "Whats the joke" answers "Nothink". He is, or appears to be a self educated man, and at times takes pleasure in exhibiting his knowledge. He is however a rather good natured chap and is always willing to help. The Purser is a New South Welshman and was formerly in the postal service where he attained the position of Postal Asst. Leaving the P.O. he took up Wireless in which capacity he learnt pursering and obtained a position in Howard Smith's. He has been on the Canberra Bombala & Momilyan[?] in that capacity & is an identity
