And that they were for the purpose of applying funds to new Settlers about to emigrate. This is a reviving symptom – and I hope you may have begun to feel the benefit of it before the middle of 1845 in a sensible manner
Indeed, I feel persuaded it must be so, for I am no Croaker – and particularly respecting a Country who chief want is labor, and whence the poor but valuable Laborer is so well rewarded for his toil and enterprise – My warmest regards to your dear good Mother, Wife, Sister and Brother, not forgetting best wishes for dear little Missy –
