advantage of witnessing the result of our experiments in the Colony, & I shall be curious to learn your opinion of the Flock. – It is possible that Mr Jones may have a desire to station some or all of these Sheep on Belmont – I do not know that he will do so, but if he should wish it, it will naturally accord with my inclination – and can, I trust , in no way affect your interests. – I heard with great satisfaction of your triumph over the party, in their malevolent attempts to keep you out of your just rights, in regard to the land granted from home – the calm and dignified course you adopted on the annoying occasion, could not fail to produce, as it did, the most triumphant and gratifying result. – I am told that there is no difference of opinion abt. the matter, on this side of the water; & all rejoice at your ultimate Victory.
