Yesterday I sent the samples of Sugar to the Club. I had business there this afternoon and found you had left yesterday for Camden.
I do myself the honor now to advise you of the Weight of Cast Iron pipe 4 in. They are in 9 feet lengths - each weighing 1 cwt. 2 qr. 10 lbs - therefore 160 feet will weigh 25 cwt. 2 qr. @ £16 /- per Ton, this is the average weight and lowest price.
Herwith I forward you 5 Samples of Sugar numbered 1 to 5.
