Veness would reach home as soon as a letter or telegram and we were much pushed for time yesterday so did not write to you. I think we had a very good sale of the cattle, the odd good ones amongst them brought splendid prices and as Veness tells me you have some extra good Devon Cows I think you will act wisely in sending them in soon as we shall have extreme prices for good quality for some time yet. Any of those Mudgee Cows that are in good forward condition and likely to have calves would pay to come in because you see they would only be good store Cows with price of the Calf off if they
