I send you a copy of his purchases, by which you will notice that his average for 102 head including Cows was £3.2.0 and is allowing £3.5/- for 30 Bullocks out of those he did not think [indecipherable].  I will write you again the moment I see Agnew, if there is any error I will send for the Cattle at once, or if you do not care to retain them will do so as I think there will be no difficulty in selling them, just now is the only chance of buying Cattle of that kind, for after the next 10 days I believe both all kinds of stock will be Cattle good middling & inferior will be very much dearer.  I sold this week some paddock fed beasts at £10, £13, £15, £16, £18 each.

The Grey Horse Drummer got [indecipherable] all eighty.  If you are anxious to get rid of Major send him to Sydney, there will be no difficulty in selling him from £20 to £25, perhaps more, [will?] you sell the pair of Bays.

I remain
Obdy yours

S.C. Burt
