and that which would have been paid had the cattle been forwarded by railway to the Steamship direct to London.  The Secretary of course refused to refund, enclosed a bill or time table which showed that horse boxes are not to be taken by the first train from Balloch to Stirling, but as the second train would have brought the cattle in time to Edinburgh for the sailing of the vessel from Granton, this objection is not worth much.  They, the Messrs. Hill in Cathcart, however do not recommend going into court as they consider that there would be some difficulty in establishing the claim;  that the whole of the person's evidence would require to be established in Court by the
