Calved September 29th, 1873;  bred by Mr. George S. Yeo, Sydney;  purchased by the late Mr. E.H. Woodhouse, and the property of Mr. E.B. Woodhouse, Mount Gilead, Campbelltown;  got in England, and calved at Quarantine Ground, Sydney.

Damsel 5th was bred by Mr. R. Moggridge, of Molland, and is a sister of the heifer which took First Prize at Smithfield in 1860, and was the reserve animal as the best in all classes.
Sir Hercules Robinson was purchased at auction, at Hawkes' and Wright's yards, Pitt-street, Sydney, on 28th October, 1873, when only one month old, for 112 guineas.
Australian was sold at auction at same sale, October 28th, 1873, to Messrs. Amos Bros., for 455 guineas.
Florence was also purchased at same sale by Messrs. Amos Bros., for 210 guineas.
