[Following on from Page 175]

The son of the Paris prize bull has taken two prizes since I saw him first, 19th ult.  They were second not first prizes but as the animal has been serving cows and going upon miserable pasture this is not to be wondered at.  The price fixed is £12.

From the same breeder I purchased a cow in milk four years old, price £23.  The owner has promised to put her on hay, give her and the bull [stick?] a [doise?] of salts
